Boustead Properties Launch New Brand Mutiara Spaces

KUALA LUMPUR: Township developer Boustead Properties Bhd launched its Mutiara Spaces brand as part of its ongoing reinvention initiative to redefine itself as a sustainable, technology-centric developer.

Mutiara Spaces was designed to meet the changing needs and demands of the property market, with the help of technology and creative placemaking.

“Today developers, architects, building managers and designers – that’s Boustead Properties, must redefine spaces in order to remain competitive and sustainable. We must learn, understand and innovate technology through spaces and consumer behaviour so that we can create favourable conditions that provide people with comfort and flexibility for them to work, live and play,” Boustead Properties chairman Datuk Sri Mohammed Shazalli Ramly said.

“With Mutiara Spaces, we are bringing our core values – creativity, integrity and innovation – to life. Essentially, we are reinterpreting spaces by striking a balance between function and style so we can turn smart designs into highly liveable properties. By understanding and anticipating homeowners’ needs and requirements, we can create more relevant homes that sustain their value over multiple lifetimes,” Boustead Properties chief executive officer Khairul Azizi Ismail said.

“To complement this, we see ESG as being fundamental to how we transform and build properties. More than mere words, our actions demonstrate that we are positively impacting the environment, social issues and governance. Through consistent assessment and adjustment, we can make a palpable difference in how we evolve and deliver our products,” he added.

Mutiara Spaces is guided by the developer’s new environmental, social and governance (ESG) agenda, Boustead Hijau (Bijau), which provides guidelines on ESG compliance in all future projects.

Mutiara Spaces will underpin Boustead Properties’ latest project, Mutiara Hills in Semenyih, and all future projects.

Boustead Properties board of directors Fahmy Ismail and Boustead Properties board of directors Datuk Mahadi Abdul Shukor were also present at the launch.
